RICHARD HENRY MACDONALD-D'SILVA
PASSED AWAY ON 2ND SEPTEMBER 1997
IN CALCUTTA, INDIA

A LOVING HUSBAND, FATHER AND GRANDFATHER

FONDLY REMEMBERED BY HIS WIFE, CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN, FAMILY AND FRIENDS AROUND THE WORLD.

IN MEMORY OF HIS 10TH DEATH ANNIVERSARY A MEMORIAL MASS WILL BE HELD IN CALCUTTA ON 2ND SEPTEMBER 2007 AT CHRIST THE KING CHURCH.

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories. Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

REMEMBERING YOU WITH LOVE OUR DARLING DAD/GRANDPA

We want to always remember
The beautiful life that you lived.
And keep alive the memories we have
Through remembering what you did.

For you’re so special to all of us
Such a wonderful Dad indeed.
Your love, laughter and warm smile
Reflected a heart that believed.

Just in the everyday things we do
We remember your faith and love.
And the words you spoke to help us through
Is a continued reminder for us.

Although we miss you so very much
We know we’ll see you once more.
For this is the hope we have in God
Of being re-united with the Lord.

And as we gather we’ll continue to share
Special times we all went through.
For these are memories that warm our hearts
As we honour the memory of you.

MISSING YOU AND MUM SO MUCH. MAY JESUS KEEP YOU SAFE ALWAYS. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING. LOVE, HUGS AND XXXS.

As we look back - DAD

OUR DARLING DAD

As we look back over time
We find ourselves wondering .....
Did we remember to thank you enough
For all you have done for us?
For all the times you were by our sides
To help and support us .....
To celebrate our successes
To understand our problems
And accept our defeats?
Or for teaching us by your example,
The value of hard work, good judgement,
Courage and integrity?
We wonder if we ever thanked you
For the sacrifices you made.
To let us have the very best?
And for the simple things
Like laughter, smiles and times we shared?
If we have forgotten to show our
Gratitude enough for all the things you did,
We're thanking you now.
And we are hoping you knew all along,
How much you meant to us.

FONDLY REMEMBERING MUM/NANA and DAD/GRANDPA AT CHRISTMAS TIME

We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name,
But all we have are memories,
And your picture in a frame.
Your resting place we visit,
And put flowers there with care,
But no one knows the heartache,
As we turn and leave you there.

With all our love and kisses, May both of you enjoy Christmas together in heaven. R.I.P.From: All the family.

Remembering you today

To really be alive takes more
Than breathing in and out,
Faith and hope and love are things
We cannot do without.
What matters if our earthly ties,
Are such that time can sever?
For God has promised to us all,
.....The soul goes on forever.

May your soul rest in peace, Mac/Dad/Grandpa.
With fond memories,
Venetia and all the family.

FOR A LOVING AND WONDERDUL HUSBAND/DAD/GRANDPA

LOVE....

Love is kind hearted and gives with both hands.
Love is forgiving, for Love understands.

Happy the home where Love makes its abode.
Easing the burden and sharing the load.

Making the most of whatever Life brings,
Seeing a glory in everyday things.

with which we'll never part.
God has you in His keeping
